Whatcha Gonna Do with All That Cash?

$86,400. $86,400 each and every day of your life. Each morning you wake, you are replenished this amount. What would you do with it? Would you spend it all? If you did, on what? Would you not even consider spending it? Would you be thoughtful and plan each expense of your day? Or would you just frivolously spend because you knew tomorrow was a guarantee that your funds would be replenished? Would your focus be on sharing this financial gift? Or would it be easier to spend it on gifts for yourself? I'd love to hear what you'd do with this amount everyday!

Did you know there are 86,400 seconds in a day? Let's consider this time, how do you chose to spend these 86,400 seconds each day? Is it easier to plan your days or allow God to lead you throughout each day? Are you focused on giving and serving during this time or focused on your own image and "keeping up with the Jones'"? Are you intentional with your time or frivolous with it?

I'm not going to lie, time change is not my best suit. The struggle was real when preparing for church this morning and I felt off kilter all day, but with the time change comes an extra hour in the evening for daylight and longer days are continuously approaching. How do you plan on using these longer days, your 86,400 seconds per day?

This past week I got to meet up with a friend and walk at a local park for an evening- it was glorious! From seeing each other five days a week to only an occasional visit, we had much to catch up on- we laughed, caught up on all the life things and gave each other a big hello hug and an even bigger goodbye hug. My heart felt so happy that night! And this weekend, my husband and I got to eat breakfast with my aunt and uncle, a postponed breakfast date that was long overdue with them! It was wonderful to sit and chat with them, laugh and catch up. Both visits the word "intentional" was used. We must be "intentional" to make the time to visit with others, check in on one another, talk to one another, pray with or for others, and serve one another.

What are you being intentional about with your time? And what needs to become intentional with your time?

I pray that as we consider what we would do with $86,400 each day and all the possibilities of such a large amount of money, that we would more so consider what all the possibilities- big, small and everything in between- could be for our 86,400 seconds that we do have in each day.

Blessings as you consider how to glorify God in your 86,400 seconds each day this coming week...
